ALL MIRACLES OF VOJVODINA
Under the motto Feel the Miracles of the Beautiful Vojvodina, the Fund Cluster of the Vojvodina Medical Tourism was founded in Kanjiža, upon proposal of the Local Self-Management Communities of Kanjiža, Senta, Ada, Bečej, Subotica, Bačka Topola and Mali Iđoš, on August 23, 2007, in order to support mutual connecting of the Local Self-Management Communities, companies, the holders of knowledge and institutions in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina - the organizations of similar activities by their concept. The Cluster of the Vojvodina Medical Tourism provides the opportunity at the European level for various mutual connecting, it points out the natural beauties, national parks, the Region water world, the Tisza, Danube and Sava, the opportunities for the sports, hunting and fishing tourism, an active holiday, many events and, first of all, curing spas with the latest treatments and Wellness programs. The Cluster shows the harmony of people and nature, habits, the preserved artistic and architectural works, the cultural heritage, products and specialties characteristic for the region of Vojvodina.
As declared by Mr. Joszef Palinkas, the Fund CEO, "in the previous period, the Cluster was featured, in addition to Serbia, also in Hungary, Austria, Italy, Slovenia and other countries and many contracts of incorporation were concluded, as well as agreements of business/technical cooperation. A significant accent has been put on the Cluster role in the fulfillment of the Feasibility Study and the Action Plan for the development of the spa centers and the Marketing Strategy for the Development of the Vojvodina Tourism, with a special focus upon the medical tourism development, Wellness centers, international and cross-border cooperation with the EU. Currently, the Cluster has got more than 50 active members from 14 Municipalities and at present there are signings of agreements on the business-technical cooperation with the interested Municipalities and members from the territory of Vojvodina".

| IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS AND RECOGNITIONS |
European Regional Cooperation Agreement with the Republic of Hungary and Romania, which increased the Cluster capacity from 3,563 employees to 39,800 in the medical tourism of the European Region , which enables the entry to the European market. The Eurospa work on the international standards was continued by pointing out the specific characteristics of the European Region by founding the European Region Tourism Cluster for Development and Management, with a special attention to the safekeeping of environment, innovations and new technologies, as well as the education of the necessary experts and staff by forming the international Pilot Area of the European Tourism Education in the medical and rural tourism of the European Region. |
At the end of 2009, the Cluster was awarded an international prize of the National Tourist Organization of the Republic of Hungary The Plains Tourism, for the merits and the achieved successful international cooperation of the Cluster with the partners from the neighboring European countries in the Region. |
The Cluster representatives, as members of the Tourism Working Group of the Joint Committee for Economic Cooperation of the Republic of Serbia and Hungary, signed the international Protocol on cooperation by the topics: Exchange of Information, Use of the European Program for the Territorial, Cross-Border Cooperation within the development of the medical, rural and environment tourism, support to the tourism development on the Danube and the Tisza, the acknowledgement of the international status of the river Tisza and the construction of the international border crossings in Szeged and Kanjiža and others |
