In order to develop Belgrade's culture tourism, the Tourist Organization and the Belgrade City Museum featured a new program, showing the Residence of Princess Ljubica and living in Belgrade during the rule of the Obrenovię Dinasty.
Featuring the 19th century, full of stormy historical events, which affected the forming of a new civil society and the way of living in Serbia, especially in Belgrade, the program under the title A Cup of Coffee at the Princess Ljubica's was created so that the Belgrade City Museum Custodian, dressed in the costume from the Princess Ljubica's time period, welcomes its visitors/tourists as the hostess of its Palace. The story she uses to entertain the audience is popular and adapted to the museum visiting tourist tours. In the authentic ambient, the tourists find out the way the Serbian Female Rulers were dressed, educated their children and managed the household, they listen to the music of that time and, at the visit end, coffee with Lokum is served to the visitors.
Regular program schedule for the visitors:
Time: On Saturdays, at 12.00 pm (noon)
Duration: 60 minutes
Entry ticket price: RSD.250.00
The maximum number of visitors: 30 persons
The entry tickets are sold at the Residence cashier's and the Information Centers of the Tourist Organization of Belgrade, where all information of the city, as well as free promotional leaflets may be obtained.
