THE GAME WAITING FOR HUNTERS
Serbian Hunting Grounds are among the best known ones in Europe. The Public Company Srbijašume manages the hunting grounds located in the picturesque landscapes of the intact nature in the miracle regions of the forest/hill ambient full of whirlpools, brooks and springs with the highest quality potable water, at the height of 400 to 1,500 meters above the sea level. In these 43 hunting grounds, at the area of 500,000 hectares, large and small game is hunted. The forest density of the hunting grounds is different, varying from 11.5 to more than 40%. Large game is represented there: doe and deer game, wild boar, chamois, fallow deer and mouflon as regarding Ungulates, as well as wolf, lynx and bear as regarding beasts. Some of these species are autochthonous and some were taken in again or spread in a natural way from the neighboring hunting grounds.
The Lumber Camp Belgrade manages four hunting grounds: Marsh, the Black Grove, Cherry and Lipovička Forest.
| The BLACK GROVE Hunting Ground |
It is located in Srem, on the left bank of the Sava river, 30 km to the west from Belgrade, 20 km far from the Nikola Tesla Airport. The hunting ground total area is 973 hectares, whereas 720 hectares have been fenced. In a beautiful oak forest, the grown species are European Deer, wild boar and doe. Hunting of any type of game is possible. Thus, coaches, boats and terrain vehicles are at the disposal. In its hunting history, the hunting ground accomplished top results in growing the trophy European Deer of more than 216 CIC points and wild boar of 130 CIC points.

| ŠUME (FOREST) TOURS |
Within the Public Company Srbijašume, Marketing and Public Relations Section, there is a General Tourism Department. In its offer it has got catering/tourist facilities, operating within the Public Company Srbijašume and it is primarily dealing with special interest tourism – the environment, ethnic, hunting and recreational tourism. |

| The LIPOVIČKA FOREST Hunting Ground |
It is located on the main road Belgrade – Čačak. It is 25 km far from Belgrade, 35 km from Lazarevac and 10 km from Barajevo. It is open and takes the area of 1,253 hectares. The continuously grown game species are doe, rabbit and pheasant. The large game hunting is carried out from a blind or stalking. A terrain vehicle is at the hunters’ disposal.

| The CHERRY Hunting Ground |
It is located on Avala, near the old road to Kragujevac. It is 35 km far from Belgrade, 20 km far from Mladenovac, 220 km far from Niš and it is well connected to the main roads. The fallow deer and mouflon are grown in this fenced hunting ground. The hunting ground range is witnessed by the fallow deer trophies estimated at 196.21 CIC points and mouflon with 220.45 CIC points. The game hunting is carried out from the open and closed blinds.

Accommodation: Hotel Babe on Kosmaj, where a horse riding school may be visited, as well as in Belgrade hotels. The offer includes a visit to the Avala excursion ground and Belgrade panoramic sightseeing from the newly constructed tower, destroyed during the NATO bombing, in 1999. |
| The MARSH Hunting Ground |
It is located 15 km to the north from Belgrade, near the main road to Zrenjanin, near the settlement Padinska Skela. It is 80 km far from Novi Sad and 60 km from Zrenjanin. The hunting ground is open, it takes the area of 8,263 hectares, of which the Pheasant Ground takes the area of 50 hectares. Continuously grown game types are doe, wild boar, rabbit, pheasant, quail and mallard. Especially interesting is the large game hunting from open and closed blinds, whereas not less challenge is provided by sneaking hunting. Hunting of the artificial production pheasants is carried out at an arranged proving ground. The offer: The shooting ground use for a testing shot, the opportunities of boat use in the game bird hunting, the use of a terrain vehicle, terrain dog training and rent, arms rent, use of the shooting ground for the clay pigeon shooting – trap, fishing on an artificial lake within the hunting ground. |
Accommodation: Hotels in Belgrade and the Hunting Lodge Marsh, located in the Hunting Ground, near the artificial lake. The lodge has got 1 1 room and 3 apartments. The kitchen use and a 20 seats parlor are at the guests’ disposal. |
