The 42nd International Tourism Fair took place at Novi Sad Fair. Its this year's specific characteristics were offers of the spas and resorts, health care centers in Serbia, Vojvodina's salash farms, winter tourism centers in Serbia and the region, the rural tourism, cities, events, hotel/catering equipment, food and drinks, as well as souvenirs. Although the Fair was also attended by representatives from abroad, the event was dominated by the Serbian offer, first of all the one of Vojvodina. Thus, the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina featured the tourism potentials of even 32 cities and municipalities.
The Novi Sad Tourist Organization united the participation of 27 exhibitors, among which also hotels, agencies, ethnic houses, czardas and cultural institutions. The Tourist Organization of Bački Petrovac, the winner of the Tourist Flower prize of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, featured the events Wedding Before and Now and The Slovak National Festivities, the Sombor Tourist Organization introduced to the event visitors the csardas, salashes and ethnic houses, Kovačica announced the event 'The Corn Games - Kovačica the World Corn Capital, which will be organized for the first time next year in that Banat municipality.
The Tourist Organization of Serbia participated in the Fair this year, as well, introducing a program of Serbian potentials promotional activities in Serbia and worldwide, whereas the Tourist Organization of Belgrade had its City Break offer and promotions of the hotels, excursions and culture facilities.
The winter tourism centers featured their capacities and the Serbian spas displayed their complete offer and  the price policy during the entire winter period. As they pointed out at the Vrnjačka Spa stand, the greatest attention was paid to their recreation and relaxation programs. At the stage in the Master Hall, the most interesting point was a mutual participation of the eight Serbian Royal Spas. The round table conference with the topic Tourism Development under the Economic Crisis Conditions gathered the most tourism professionals.
