On December 11 - 12, 2009, the Tourist Organization of Serbia organized in its premises (8, Čika Ljubina Street, Belgrade) the 5th Souvenir Fair - Visit Serbia. The event itself, based upon the idea of creating a recognizable souvenir from this region, has got the objective of quality improving and the tourism offer features expansion.
As stated by Ms. Gordana Plamenac, Managing Director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, "the souvenirs reflect the region authenticity they come from. Organizing such an event, we would like to contribute to the creation of a recognizable Serbian souvenir, support creativity of people, as well as motivation for new souvenirs drafting".

A souvenir is a memory, a reminder, recognizing of Serbia, its spirit, originality and tradition. The intention is to keep the old handicrafts, inform prospect manufacturers of the authentic motifs, create new souvenirs and thereby enable the guests of Serbia to take a real memory with them.
The Souvenir Show Visit Serbia provides the opportunity of offering the authentic Serbian souvenirs as an ideal holiday present, as well as to feature the companies already manufacturing the souvenirs.
